Amanda H. Corbett

Amanda H. Corbett, PharmD, BCPS, FCCP, is the Assistant Dean for Professional Education and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She also serves as the Global Pharmacology Coordinator for the UNC Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases. Her roles include leadership in curriculum design, global health engagement, and integrative medicine initiatives. Dr. Corbett holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina (1994) and a PharmD from Campbell University (1999). She completed residencies at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and UNC, followed by an Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy fellowship at UNC.

Her research focuses on infectious diseases pharmacology, antimicrobial therapy, and global health. She has published over 90 peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, and book chapters, and has presented at numerous national/international conferences. Professional memberships include the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM). She served on the FDA’s Antiviral Drugs Advisory Committee (2011–2015) and currently serves on the Antimicrobial Drugs Advisory Committee (2015–present).

Leadership roles include Secretary/Treasurer of ACCP’s ID PRN (2006–2007), Chair of the Awards Committee (2007–2010), and mentor for the UNC Covenant Scholars Program. Dr. Corbett also leads the UNC CFAR Clinical Pharmacology and Analytical Chemistry Lab as CAP General Supervisor. Beyond academia, she is a yoga teacher, Reiki master, and student of herbal medicine.
