Amanda Blackwell is a bilingual (English/Spanish) speech-language pathologist and researcher affiliated with Saint Mary's College. She holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) from Murray State University and a Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology (SLPD) from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Her expertise spans Autism Spectrum Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and cross-cultural speech therapy practices. Dr. Blackwell has lived and worked in Guatemala since 2013, focusing on international SLP challenges and telepractice in low-resource settings.
