Carol L. Koch

Carol L. Koch, EdD, CCC-SLP, is a Professor and MS-SLP Program Director in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Samford University's School of Health Professions. She previously served as Director of Hearing and Speech at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Associate Professor at Rockhurst University. Her expertise spans pediatric speech disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and clinical education.

Research Interests: Pediatric speech sound acquisition, intervention for autism spectrum disorder, family experiences in special needs, trauma-informed care, and clinical supervision. Her work emphasizes practical approaches to speech therapy, including the Contrast Cues and Box of /ɹ/ Inventory methodologies.
