Allison Harris

Allison Harris is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. She holds certifications as a Physical Therapist (PT), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), and a Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialist (CCS). With over a decade of clinical practice and teaching experience, her expertise focuses on complex medical cases, particularly those involving multiple traumatic injuries. Dr. Harris is actively involved in professional committees, including the APTA’s Acute Care Membership Committee and the Academy of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy’s Virtual Education Subcommittee. Her teaching spans residential, clinical, and hybrid settings. Beyond academia, she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and gardening, alongside exploring new cultures through travel.
