Sherman Auyeung

Sherman Auyeung is an Adjunct Professor at Samuel Merritt University, where he teaches courses in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. He instructs PT 730 (Medical Screening for Physical Therapists) and PT 716 (Patient/Client Management Musculoskeletal III). His teaching focuses on medical screening practices, imaging utilization in therapy management, and manual therapy techniques.

A Bay Area native, Auyeung holds a BSc in Kinesiology from San Francisco University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Samuel Merritt University. He completed a PNF residency and a Manual Therapy fellowship at Kaiser Vallejo. He is affiliated with professional organizations including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA), and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT).

In his personal life, Auyeung enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and snowboarding, and values the recreational and educational opportunities of the Bay Area with his family.
