Allen Harrington

Allen Harrington is an Associate Professor at the Desautels Faculty of Music, University of Manitoba. He teaches saxophone, bassoon, and chamber music, and maintains an active career as a soloist, recitalist, adjudicator, and orchestral musician.

Research & Creative Works focus on saxophone repertoire expansion, commissioning new works, and collaborative recordings with Ravello Records, including Metropolis, The Postcard Sessions, and Vanishing Point. His performance history spans five World Saxophone Congresses, international tours, and principal bassoon roles with the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra.
