Alissa M Webel is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of French and Francophone Studies at Georgetown University's College. Her career spans over three decades, focusing on intensive French language instruction and preparing students for study abroad in Francophone regions. She has held leadership roles, including Director of the Theta Xi chapter of Pi Delta Phi French Honor Society (2010–2016) and roles in the National Capital Chapter of the American Translators’ Association.
