Alise Sapata is a researcher and doctoral student at the 3D Concrete Printing Scientific Laboratory, Institute of Sustainable Building Materials and Engineering Systems, Faculty of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Riga Technical University (RTU). Her work focuses on advancing 3D printing technologies in construction through the development of optimized, environmentally friendly cement-based composites.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of material science and sustainable construction, particularly in formulating and testing novel cementitious materials suitable for additive manufacturing. These efforts aim to reduce the carbon footprint of the building industry by improving material efficiency and enabling complex, waste-minimized designs.
The body of her research, reflected in multiple internationally indexed publications, centers on material development, mechanical testing, and environmental assessment of 3D-printable concrete. She actively contributes to the global research community through participation in international projects, technical committees, and scientific conferences.
Alise is a member of the 3D Concrete Printing Team at RTU, collaborating with senior researchers and contributing to cutting-edge innovations in construction materials. She holds an ORCID ID: 0009-0007-1221-2026, affirming her scholarly engagement.
