Alice McGrath

Alice McGrath is a Lecturer in Arts Management and Cultural Policy at Queen Margaret University (Edinburgh), serving as Programme Lead for the Arts, Festivals and Cultural Management course. She holds affiliations with the Oxford Cultural Leaders Alumni Network, Federation of Scottish Theatre, a-n The Artists Information Company, and the Culture in Society Research Centre.

Her professional experience includes roles as Creative Director of Red Bridge Arts, Strategy Development Lead at Federation of Scottish Theatre, Executive Producer at Scottish Dance Theatre, and Director of Creative Development at Macrobert Arts Centre. Teaching focuses on Creative Entrepreneurship, Arts Project Evaluation, and Finance/Management for the Arts across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Research interests center on sustainability frameworks for artists and cultural organizations. She advises postgraduate research on cultural organization management and festival strategies. Alice actively collaborates with artists and institutions to foster creative processes and event production.
