Dr. Ali Blebil is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Pharmacy at Swansea University's Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science. Previously, he served as Stream Leader at Monash University Malaysia and held academic roles at UCSI University. A PhD holder in Clinical Pharmacy and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), he received the 'Excellence in Education; Innovation in Learning and Teaching' award from Monash University. His research focuses on pharmacy practice innovations, including quality use of medicines, public health interventions, and pharmacy education reforms.
Research interests span clinical pharmacy, health services optimization, pharmacogenomics education, antimicrobial stewardship, and patient-reported outcomes. His work frequently addresses medication management in vulnerable populations and healthcare system improvements in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Publications emphasize pharmacy education methodologies, antimicrobial resistance, geriatric care, and public health interventions. Recent articles explore pharmacogenomics training, community-based stewardship programs, and digital health solutions in pharmacy practice, reflecting a strong translational research focus.
