Alexis Constantin

Mr. Alexis Constantin is a Professor of Private Law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ). He serves as Vice-President of the Academic Council in charge of the Research Commission and is affiliated with the Business Law and New Technologies Laboratory (DANTE). His expertise spans corporate law, commercial law, banking and financial law, arbitration, and business criminal law.

• Education: Doctor of Law (1998) from the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) under Professor Jacques Ghestin; DEA in Private Law (1990) from the same institution.

His research focuses on domestic and international law of companies, mergers and acquisitions, corporate legal engineering, private equity, business litigation, and collective procedures. He has authored a seminal work on corporate law published by Dalloz and contributes regularly to legal journals such as JCP, Dalloz, and Revue Lamy de droit des affaires.

With nearly two decades of practical experience in law firms and as an independent consultant/arbitrator, he also sits on the Legal Commission of the National Order of Chartered Accountants. He supervises approximately ten ongoing doctoral theses and has participated in fifteen thesis defense juries in Law.
