Alexey Lipatov

Dr. Alexey Lipatov is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Biology & Health Sciences at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He leads the Lipatov Group, focusing on designing functional nanomaterials for electronics, photonics, and energy storage. His work emphasizes MXenes, quasi-1D TiS3, and ferroelectric materials. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska.
