Izabela Janowska

Dr. Izabela Janowska is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Chemistry and Processes for Energy, Environment and Health (ICPEES), affiliated with the University of Strasbourg and the European School of Chemistry, Polymers and Materials. She leads research in the Carbon Nanostructure and Catalysis group, focusing on advanced carbon nanomaterials.

Her research explores:

• Synthesis of 1D/2D carbon nanostructures via CVD and microwave methods
• Catalytic applications of graphene and carbon nanotubes
• Optoelectronic properties of thin carbon films
• Fractal graphene engineering and defect modulation

Her publications demonstrate expertise in developing graphene-based electrodes for energy storage and novel characterization techniques for nanomaterial defects.
