Alexandra Phillips is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Culture + Community, Emily Carr University of Art and Design. She holds an MFA in Sculpture and an MA in Sociocultural Anthropology from the University of Washington. Her research explores themes such as New Age appropriation of Indigenous spiritual practices, comedy's role in social regeneration, and representation ethics. She has exhibited widely across North America and is represented by The Drawing Center in New York.
