Alexander Rustler is a Research Fellow at the Oxford University Centre for Corporate Reputation (Saïd Business School, University of Oxford). He holds a DPhil (PhD) in Management from Saïd Business School, alongside a Master of Science in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.
His research focuses on corporate reputation dynamics, public policy, and global governance, with particular attention to business ethics, human rights, and international relations. His work has explored topics such as organizational legitimacy, sanctions' impact on climate goals, and geopolitical conflicts in Chechnya.
Notable funding sources include the Saïd Business School Foundation, Skoll Foundation, Santander, and St Antony’s College. His career includes roles at UNICEF’s Office of Global Insight and Policy and the Austrian Development Agency.
