Alexander Matthias Walter

Dr. Alexander Matthias Walter is an Emmy Noether Junior Research Group Leader at the Leibniz Institute for Molecular Pharmacology (FMP) in Berlin, affiliated with Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin within the Molecular and Theoretical Neuroscience department. Holding a Dr. rer. nat. from the International Max Planck Research School, Walter specializes in synaptic transmission mechanisms, SNARE protein function, and exocytosis regulation.
