Alexander Chee is a critically acclaimed author and Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing at Dartmouth College. Known for his novels Edinburgh (2001) and The Queen of the Night (2016), as well as his essay collection How To Write An Autobiographical Novel (2018), he has established himself as a prominent voice in contemporary literature.
Chees academic and literary contributions are complemented by his editorial roles, including contributing editor at The New Republic, editor at large at Virginia Quarterly Review, and critic at large for the Los Angeles Times. His work has appeared in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Best American Essays, and Tin House.
