Alex Queen is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Psychology at Tufts University, School of Arts and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami and a BA from the University of North Carolina. His academic roles include coordinating clinical internships and advising the Psi Chi Honor Society. Dr. Queen is also a licensed psychologist in private practice, specializing in treating anxiety and depressive disorders.

Research Interests: Dr. Queen focuses on the assessment and treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders, particularly in youth. He has contributed to the development of clinical scales like the Adolescent Life Interference Scale (ALIS-I).
Teaching & Mentoring: He teaches courses such as Psychological Evaluation and Treatment and coordinates the Senior Capstone in Clinical Psychology. He has been recognized for teaching excellence by Tufts graduating seniors multiple times.
Professional Activities: Dr. Queen serves on multiple university committees and has received awards for teaching and technology integration. He contributes to institutional review boards and professional organizations.
