Professor Alex Lo is a human geographer and interdisciplinary researcher at York Business School, York St John University. His academic journey includes a bachelor’s in business administration, master’s in environmental management and human geography, and PhD from the Australian National University (2011). He has held faculty roles at Griffith University, University of Hong Kong, and Victoria University of Wellington, where he served as Programme Director of Climate Change Science and Policy. Currently, he contributes to international climate policy discussions and serves on editorial boards for Environmental Values and Population and Environment.
- Research Themes: Ecological economics, business resilience to climate change, sustainability transitions, carbon trading, and urban green infrastructure.
