Lewis Cheung

Professor Lewis Cheung is a Professor in Tourism and Event Management at York Business School, York St John University. Previously, he held roles including Associate Head and Associate Professor at the Education University of Hong Kong, and has served on various advisory committees for governments and NGOs. His research focuses on nature-based tourism, sustainable tourism practices, and environmental management in protected areas across Greater China and Southeast Asia. He has contributed to over 50 peer-reviewed publications, exploring topics such as ecotourism impacts, climate change adaptation, and visitor behavior.
