Alex Day is a Lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Social Care and Community Studies at Sheffield Hallam University since May 2022. They teach on courses including the FdA/BA in Working with Children, Young People and Families, BA/MA/DA Social Work, and Learning Disability and Social Work programs. Their professional roles include supporting Practice Educators and collaborating with the South Yorkshire Teaching Partnership, as well as facilitating international volunteering placements for students.
Educationally, Alex holds an MSc from London Metropolitan University (2009) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work, complemented by Level 3 Practice Educator certification.
