Paula Green

Paula Green is the Head of Student Recruitment & Outreach in the College of Health, Wellbeing & Life Sciences at Sheffield Hallam University. She holds academic roles including Senior Lecturer and Principal Lecturer in the School of Health and Social Care. Her work focuses on child safeguarding, Early Help interventions, and national social work programs. She leads recruitment efforts across multiple schools within the college and manages partnerships with external organizations.

Her teaching expertise spans courses like BA Social Work and BA Learning Disability & Social Work. She has 22 years of practice-based experience in children's social work, charitable project management (e.g., Action for Children), and leadership roles in multi-agency teams. Notable projects include leading international student volunteer initiatives in Greece, France, and India.

Research involvement includes co-directing studies on youth homelessness in Sheffield (2021/22) and co-facilitating the Elm Tree Foundation Project (Domestic Abuse Charity, 2022–present) under the Health Research Institute. She also contributed to the Sheffield Troubled Families Programme ('Building Successful Families').
