Dr. Alex Bullock is a Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Hull, affiliated with the Hull York Medical School. He serves as a Trial Manager for the CANFit study, focusing on personalized exercise programs for early-stage cancer patients in Yorkshire. His research investigates malnutrition, sarcopenia, and cachexia in older cancer patients, with a mixed-methods approach. Alex completed his PhD in 2022, exploring detection and assessment of these conditions within the Yorkshire Cancer Research-funded TRANSFORM group.

Awards: 2024 Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Advising & Grants: Alex contributes to the CANFit trial and the Wolfson Palliative Care Research Centre. His research has been supported by Yorkshire Cancer Research and institutional grants.
