Alessandra Di Paola is a fixed-term Researcher in Applied Biology (SSD BIO/13) at Link Campus University - Rome, within the Department of Life Sciences, Health and Health Professions. She holds a PhD in Translational Medicine from Università degli Studi della Campania 'Luigi Vanvitelli' (2021) and a Master’s in Biological Sciences from the University of Naples 'Federico II' (2017). Registered as a Biologist since 2018, she is affiliated with the National Order of Biologists (Section A).
Her research focuses on biological and molecular mechanisms underlying paediatric oncological and haematological diseases, aiming to identify early diagnostic markers and novel therapeutic pathways. She collaborates with academic institutions globally and has published in international journals. Professional memberships include the Italian Association of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology (AIEOP) and the Italian Association of General and Molecular Biology and Genetics (AIBG).
Since 2021, she has been a Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Cell and Molecular Biology, Università degli Studi della Campania, where she tutored laboratory activities and thesis supervision for medical, biology, and nursing students. Office hours are available post-classes or via email appointment.
