Aleksandar Blecic is a Research Fellow at the Department of Marketing, Copenhagen Business School (CBS), where he joined in January 2025 as part of the research project 'Buying from a Foreigner: The Role of Stereotypes in Inter-Cultural Sales Encounters.' Previously, he was a Research Associate at the Chair of Marketing & Innovation at the University of Mannheim, Germany, where he earned his PhD in Business Administration. His work focuses on consumer behavior, decision-making, and sustainable consumption.

Research Interests: Aleksandar investigates how timing and valence of customer expectations/experiences influence perceptions and behavioral intentions. He also explores stereotypes related to political ideology in sustainable product choices and the role of AI nudges in promoting societal benefits. His research bridges consumer psychology with social identity theories.
Professional Contributions: He has supervised over 30 theses (bachelor’s, seminar, and master’s) and contributed to courses like Digital Marketing Strategy and Research Seminar. His work has been published in the Journal of Consumer Behaviour and presented at leading conferences (e.g., Association for Consumer Research, American Marketing Association). He serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Consumer Behaviour.
Labs/Teams: Engaged in CBS’s interdisciplinary research on cultural stereotypes in commercial interactions.
