Aleena Shuja

Aleena Shuja is a doctoral researcher and part-time lecturer at the Business School, University of Western Australia, serving as a Research Assistant with over nine years of university-level teaching experience. Her current PhD research centers on overqualification in workplace contexts.

Her research spans workplace diversity, gender equality, inclusion, and overqualification, specifically examining how perceived overqualification influences employees' challenge appraisal of shared leadership structures. This work bridges organizational psychology and human resource management to enhance understanding of employee-organization dynamics.

She has received the Australian Government Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship and University of Western Australia International Fee Scholarship for her scholarly contributions.

Aleena actively participates in academic service as a journal assistant editor, thesis evaluation committee member, and curriculum design board member. Her research has been presented at international conferences and supported by multiple grants, reflecting her commitment to advancing organizational behavior scholarship.
