Elisa Adriasola

Elisa Adriasola is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at Universidad Diego Portales and holds adjunct roles at the University of Western Australia (UWA) Business School. Her primary affiliations include the Management and Organisations department at UWA and membership in the Advancing Leadership Research group and Leadership Research Initiative (Kansas Leadership Center, USA). She is also a founding member of the Chilean Society of Psychology and Organizational Behavior (SOCIPCO).

Elisa holds a Ph.D. in Management from UWA (2015), a Master's in Educational Management (2009), and degrees in Management and Education from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her research focuses on leadership development, shared leadership dynamics, and diversity issues in organizations, with particular emphasis on women in STEM leadership roles and employee well-being. She has secured over US$200,000 in research funding from bodies like FONDECYT and the US Army Research Institute.

Her work examines identity-based leadership emergence, cross-cultural employee behavior, and leadership interventions. Notable contributions include structural models for shared leadership and scale validation studies on employee silence across 33 countries. Elisa's research is disseminated through top journals (Journal of Organizational Behavior, Behavioral Sciences) and international conferences (AOM, SIOP).

Elisa has been awarded the FONDECYT Iniciación (2016) and Becas Chile scholarship (2009). She collaborates internationally with teams in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Finland, and Australia. Her teaching spans leadership, organizational behavior, and HRM at undergraduate and MBA levels, emphasizing innovative pedagogical strategies.
