Aldrena Hicks

Aldrena Hicks is a faculty member at Vermont College of Fine Arts with a background as Assistant Professor and Chair of Art at Columbia College of South Carolina. She holds an MFA in Graphic Design from VCFA and a BA in Studio Art. Her research explores Black womanhood's influence in visual communication, documented in her thesis Little Brown Girl.

Her creative works include the children's book You Are A Queen and art featured in Louisville Magazine. Awards include recognition from IDA and PRINT Magazine for design excellence.
