معرفی
Alberto Villois is a Research Fellow at the University of East Anglia (UEA), affiliated with the School of Engineering, Mathematics and Physics. He is a member of the Fluids & Structures and Quantum Matter research groups. His work focuses on quantum fluid dynamics, superfluidity, and vortex dynamics, with a particular emphasis on numerical simulations and theoretical modeling of topological defects in superfluid systems. He has contributed to understanding vortex reconnection processes, electron bubble mobility, and the Gross-Pitaevskii equation framework. His research spans topics including nonlinear dynamics, turbulence in quantum fluids, and computational methodologies for fluid dynamics.
Key achievements include receiving the 2018 François Frenkiel Award for Fluid Mechanics, recognizing his contributions to fluid mechanics research. His publications (6 articles from 2016–2020) explore fundamental phenomena in superfluid systems, such as vortex filament evolution and universal scaling laws in quantum fluids. While no student advisees or grant information is explicitly stated, his affiliation with UEA’s research groups indicates active participation in collaborative research projects.
