Davide Proment

Davide Proment is an Associate Professor in Applied Mathematics at the University of East Anglia (UEA), affiliated with the School of Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics. He is a member of the Centre for Photonics and Quantum Science and Quantum Matter research groups. His work bridges theoretical physics and applied mathematics, focusing on nonlinear systems, quantum fluids, and turbulence dynamics. Proment holds a PhD from Università degli Studi di Torino (2010) and has held postdoctoral roles, including research on extreme seas at the European Research Council.
