Alan Lee

Alan Lee is a Senior Lecturer in Biochemistry at the University of Sunderland, where he has been employed since 2022. His research focuses on the roles of neuronal axon guidance molecules (semaphorin and plexin) in cell migration, cancer development, and nervous system regeneration, with applications in diseases like glioblastomas and multiple sclerosis. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and neurobiology.
