Alan Chow is a Professor of Piano and Chair of the Piano Department at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. A celebrated pianist and Steinway Artist, he has performed across five continents with orchestras such as the National Symphony and Hong Kong Philharmonic. His career includes solo recitals at Lincoln Center, Ravinia, and major festivals globally.

- Studies at Juilliard School under Sascha Gorodnitzki
- Indiana University with Menahem Pressler
- Mozarteum Sommerakademie (Carlo Zecchi)
His professional focus spans concert performance, chamber music collaborations (with ensembles like the Escher String Quartet), and pedagogy. He is a guest professor at Beijing’s Central Conservatory and frequent adjudicator at competitions including the New Orleans International Piano Competition.
