Ala R. Abbas

Dr. Ala R. Abbas is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Akron's College of Engineering and Polymer Science since 2005. He previously worked at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center as a Highway Research Fellow and Engineer. His research focuses on geomaterials modeling, pavement engineering, traffic noise analysis, and highway material characterization.
