Laureano R Hoyos

Dr. Laureano R. Hoyos is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). He holds a Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology (1998) and has held academic positions at UTA since 2000, advancing through ranks to Full Professor in 2014. His expertise lies in experimental and computational geomechanics, particularly in unsaturated soils and geotechnical engineering challenges.
