Dr. Aisha Adams is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Catawba College, located in the Hedrick Building. She holds a PhD and MS in Experimental Psychology from the University of Georgia, and a BS in Psychology (with a minor in Education) from the University of Florida. Her research explores the interplay between memory and perception, particularly how these processes influence learning in educational settings. She emphasizes the impact of external stimuli (e.g., emotional distractions) and the development of effective learning strategies like metacognition.
