Christina Sinisi

Dr. Christina Sinisi is a Professor and Chair of the Psychology Department at Charleston Southern University. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Hollins College, followed by her MS and PhD in Psychology from Kansas State University. With 25 years of teaching experience at Charleston Southern, she has been deeply involved with Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, serving as advisor for 20 years.

She has received recognition as Psi Chi Regional Advisor of the Year and served as Vice-President for the Southeastern United States.

Service and Community Involvement:

• Advisor for Psi Chi (20 years), leading it to multiple 'Club of the Year' awards
• Vice-President of SOUL, supporting at-risk pregnant women
• Authored a parenting curriculum for the LowCountry Pregnancy Center
• Taught High School Sunday School at Grace Lutheran Church
