Ahmet Said Aydil is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Law & Anthropology, Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, Halle. He holds a bachelor's degree from Bilkent University (2015–2019) and an LLM from the Europa-Institut at Saarland University (2020–2022).

His research focuses on the intersection of law and anthropology, particularly human rights law, judicial legitimacy, and the societal implications of European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) rulings in contexts marked by political and social tensions. His work explores how international human rights institutions shape public perception and confidence, integrating anthropological methodologies to analyze stakeholder experiences.
Aydil is affiliated with the Union of Turkish Bar Associations since 2020 and presented on Turkish secularism at the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) Study Visit in May 2024. His professional experience includes a legal internship at Ankara Bar Association/Karaman Law Firm (2019–2020), covering commercial law, international arbitration, criminal law, and administrative law. He is fluent in Turkish (native), English, and has elementary proficiency in German and Arabic.
