Barış Bahçeci is a Professor in Fiscal Law at İzmir University of Economics, with a distinguished academic career spanning over 15 years. His expertise lies at the intersection of Tax Law, Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law, and Public Law. Holding a PhD in Public Law from Ankara University (2007), he has served as Assistant Professor (2008-2017), Associate Professor in Fiscal Law (2017-2023), and achieved full professorship in 2023 with his thesis on Kamu Alacağını Takip Hukuku (State Debt Collection Law).
