Adrienne Renwick

Adrienne Renwick is a Teaching Associate Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno's School of Public Health. She holds dual licenses as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Clinical Alcohol Drug Counselor (LCADC), with over two decades of clinical and leadership experience in trauma therapy, substance abuse, and domestic violence interventions across urban and rural communities.

Her research focuses on:

• Substance and behavioral addiction counseling
• Domestic violence system integration
• Professional burnout prevention in clinical workforces

Recent publications examine sizeism in school counseling and interdisciplinary domestic violence discourse analysis. She has secured over $1.5M in grants since 2013, including multi-year funding from the Office for Violence Against Women and Nevada Department of Health and Human Services.
