Adrien Alberini serves as an Associate Professor in Economic Public Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Geneva, and is a lawyer admitted to the Geneva Bar serving as Of Counsel at Walder Wyss. He actively contributes to the Digital Law Center as a Member of its Management Committee, focusing on legal frameworks for technology implementation in public sectors.
His academic credentials include a Ph.D. from the University of Geneva Faculty of Law (awarded Walther Hug, Bellot, and Aubert prizes) with research conducted at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition, and Tax Law in Munich, plus an LL.M. in Law, Science & Technology from Stanford Law School earned with honors.
Alberini's research critically examines digital sovereignty, AI governance in public administration, and competition law's role in technological innovation.
