Adriana R. Verwey, M.D., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center (School of Medicine and Dentistry). She serves as Director of Inclusive Recreation at the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities and Co-Director for Resident Education in her division.

Dr. Verwey’s research focuses on health disparities and social determinants of health, particularly the impact of neighborhood deprivation on pediatric outcomes. She has received multiple awards, including the Research Symposium Scholar (2022) and the Department of Pediatrics Chair's Fellow Research Award (2021-2023).
