Adrian Tudorascu

Adrian Tudorascu is a Professor and Associate Director of the School of Mathematical and Data Sciences (SMDS) at West Virginia University (WVU). He holds a PhD in Mathematical Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University (2005). His research focuses on Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), Calculus of Variations, and Fluid Dynamics, with specific interests in Pressureless Gas Dynamics, Optimal Transport, and Semi-Geostrophic Systems. He has contributed extensively to theoretical and applied aspects of PDEs, including studies on fluid mechanics, geophysical models, and chemical reaction-diffusion systems.
