Jean Noel Reinaud

Dr. Jean Noel Reinaud is a Reader in Applied Mathematics at the University of St Andrews. His research focuses on mathematical and computational aspects of atmospheric and oceanic fluid dynamics, with emphasis on geophysical vortices, vortex interactions, and quasi-geostrophic models. He holds a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches from Université de Bretagne Occidentale (2019) and a PhD in Fluid Dynamics from Institut Polytechnique de Toulouse (2000).
