Adrian Rogstad is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts, University of Groningen. His research focuses on Russian-Western relations, post-Soviet politics, Brexit, and critical sociological approaches to International Relations. He teaches courses such as 'The Politics of Time in Europe' and 'Theory of International Relations' at the MA and pre-Master levels.
His work contributes to understanding geopolitical conflicts, European identity, and the dynamics of stigmatization in international politics. Notable publications include analyses of the 2013–14 Russia-Ukraine crisis, Brexit referendum dynamics, and Russia's foreign policy in Transnistria and Crimea.
