Ade Oriade is a Senior Lecturer in Tourism at the University of Wolverhampton's Department of Marketing, Innovation, Leisure & Enterprise within the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences. He is also Head of the Doctoral Programme for Business and holds a PhD from the University of Salford. His research focuses on contemporary tourism and hospitality, sustainability, and service sector marketing.

His research interests span tourism development, international hospitality business, and responsible tourism practices. Recent work includes studies on sexual harassment in hotels and sustainability in space tourism. His 15 most recent publications address topics ranging from post-pandemic tourism recovery to digital banking applications in Nigeria.
Oriade has received the JHTH 2nd Place Best Paper award and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has served on editorial boards for the Journal of Destination Marketing & Management and International Journal of Management Practice. Grants include the Economic Impact Assessment of Leicester Cathedral and the Holiday Confidence Index project.
He supervises research degrees in topics like technology-informed service robotics and precary work in hospitality. Professional activities include external examiner roles at multiple UK universities and committee memberships in academic governance.
