Adam Wild is a Senior Extension Associate and Director of Cornell University's Uihlein Maple Research Forest in Lake Placid, NY. He leads a 350-acre research facility dedicated to advancing maple syrup production and non-timber forest products. His role includes managing a 7,000-tap commercial maple operation and researching birch and beech sap utilization. As Co-Director of the Cornell Maple Program, he supports maple producers statewide through workshops, conferences, and educational outreach. He co-hosts the podcast 'Sweet Talk: All things Maple' and teaches online courses through Cornell's Small Farms program.
