Dr. Adam Badger is a Research Associate at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford, where he works on the Fairwork project team. His interdisciplinary research bridges Geography and Management, focusing on the lived experiences of gig economy workers and modes of resistance against technologically enabled organization. He previously held a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the OII (June 2022–January 2024) and conducted postdoctoral work at Royal Holloway, investigating mutual aid responses to the COVID-19 crisis and Just Transitions in Australia.

His findings emphasize the need for systemic reforms in digital labor governance.
