Ada Pawlikowska is a Professor at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Poland. She specializes in Typography and Book Design, with a focus on bridging historical typographic traditions and contemporary design practices.

- Teaches Foundations of Typography since 2009
Her research interests revolve around the interplay between historical and modern typographic composition, emphasizing minimalist, harmonious design principles. She is the author of the Vademecum typografa project, a systematic educational resource for typography fundamentals.
Recent publications include her doctoral thesis New Dimension of Old Typography (2017) and the first volume of her comprehensive book series Typographer's Vademecum (2023), which explores letterform construction and typographic theory. Volume 2 (Function), focusing on typographic applications in visual communication, is currently in development.
She leads the Lettering and Typography Studio independently since 2016 and runs her own design practice, including the Second Edition project (2013–present) for re-publishing rare historical books from 16th–19th centuries that fell out of print.
