Dr Abi Olarinde is a Senior Lecturer in Learning and Teaching at Teesside University International Business School (TUIBS), part of Teesside University. She holds roles as Director of Studies for doctoral candidates and Postgraduate Research (PGR) Tutor in the Leadership, Management and Human Resources (LMHR) Department. Her academic leadership includes heading the 'Productive People and Relationships' Future of Work Centre Group.
Education: PhD in Management (University of Hull, 2014-2019), MSc Business & Management (Aston University, 2012-2014), MChem Chemistry (University of Reading, 2007-2012), and a PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (Teeside University, 2020-2022).
Research focuses on Employee Relations, Cross-Cultural Management, and Human Resource Management in emerging economies. Recent work explores blockchain's role in enhancing supply chain resilience for agri-food SMEs. She has reviewed articles for the Human Resource Management Journal and contributed to interdisciplinary studies blending technology and business practices.
