Dr. Abdul Rehman Shahid is a Lecturer in Operations Management and Information Systems at Royal Holloway, University of London. He serves as Course Director for the MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. His research focuses on crowdsourcing dynamics, particularly its applications in humanitarian response and entrepreneurship ecosystems. He holds a PhD from Royal Holloway and an MSc in Business IT (Distinction) from Strathclyde Business School.
Abdul has consulted for organizations like the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), advising on crowdsourcing technology implementations. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and actively involved with the Association of Information Systems (AIS). His work addresses UN SDGs related to disaster management and innovation.
